A former Carthusian monastery, La Corroirie is an inhabited historic monument where centuries still resonate through stone and landscape. Each room opens quietly onto history, combining contemporary comfort with a monastic sense of calm.

Fresh bread and croissants baked on site, homemade jams, honey from our own beehives, farmhouse yoghurt and seasonal fruit. Each morning, breakfast becomes a quiet ritual, served in the great hall of the castle.
Orange juice is pressed to order, easing the day gently into motion, before setting out to explore the Loire Valley châteaux or the paths of the surrounding forest.
Depending on the season and the moment, we may also offer a soft goat’s cheese from Sainte-Maure-de-Touraine AOC, to be enjoyed without haste.

For greater independence during your stay, a well-equipped shared kitchenette is available at all times. It allows guests to organise their days freely, whether for an impromptu supper, a picnic in the forest, or a simple meal after a day of exploration.
You will find an oven, a microwave, a kettle, a coffee machine, a shared refrigerator and all the necessary crockery, making it easy to take your time and remain free from fixed schedules.
A small selection of local products is also available: drinks, regional treats, and the well-known terrines by chef Fabrice Dallais, for simple meals that respect the quiet atmosphere of the place.

The castle-monastery of La Corroirie is more than a place to stay.
