La Corroirie lies on the edge of the forest, between Montrésor and Loches, in a landscape of Touraine that has remained open and inhabited.
One reaches it by gradually leaving the main roads behind. The road narrows, the forest appears, then the stones. The Château-monastère de la Corroirie stands apart, without being isolated.
