Vox Alchimia — Land Art in Touraine

Vox Alchimia is an artistic experience offering paths to approach the Renaissance through the prism of alchemy.

The Château-monastère de la Corroirie welcomes artists of different horizons and sensibilities to create a Land Art trail, marked by works installed within the valley. The trail invites visitors to discover nature through the eyes of artists, and to approach the art of landscape differently.

The life of the monks of La Corroirie — vegetarianism, contemplation, silence — enters into resonance with certain dimensions of alchemy. The trail allows these correspondences to appear between the history of the place, contemporary creation and the presence of the landscape.

The associated artists are Rebecca Loulou, Izia Perry, Gaëlle Seillet, Laurent Verrier, TLéo, Erick Fourrier, Grôm, FanFan, Segg Céramic and Jeff de Mareuil.

The trail extends towards Chédigny, a “Jardin Remarquable” village, and towards Montrésor, listed among the Most Beautiful Villages of France. This wider geography also belongs to the Treasure Route. Other works may also be discovered through the RenaissanceS Beaux Lieux exhibition in Beaulieu-lès-Loches.

Vox Alchimia is discovered at the Château-monastère de la Corroirie, along a Land Art itinerary inscribed in the landscape.

The trail belongs to the wider experience of the estate. It can be approached during a visit, or more slowly during a stay, when the forest, the paths and the silence of La Corroirie begin to answer one another.

Open every day from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., from 1 April to 11 November 2026.

The visit of the château-monastery is €3. Guided visits are €12, by arrangement. Children and students are admitted free of charge.
