Jeff de Mareuil offers 5 double rooms in his château. The Seigneurial, the Cardinal and the Pastoral, the Monacal and the Monial, each with its own character, comfort and light.

He loves to share his historical heritage and give his good tips to make your stay unforgettable.

Take advantage of this opportunity to reserve the entire château privately if you wish to be alone. 500 m² just for you, with its 6-hectare park, 5-hectare pond and 60-hectare woodland.

In 2025, rates range from €97 to €167 for the first night, depending on the room chosen. Rates are reduced for additional nights, with breakfast always included.

Find the many restaurants in the area here. There’s also a small kitchen equipped with an oven, microwave and washing machine. There’s also a large American fridge where you can store your gourmet purchases and prepare snacks and picnics using local produce.

You can also enjoy Elixir4, a vodka flavoured with plants from our garden (Angelica, Rose, Hemp and Honey),from our distillery at the château-monastery.

Tailor-made breakfast included

Freshly baked bread and croissants, jams and honey from our beehives accompanied by coffee, tea or chocolate, yoghurts and fruit from the orchard … are all available à la carte.

Orange juice is squeezed in front of you, so you won’t miss a single vitamin for a day full of discovery.

If you feel like it, we can also offer you Sainte Maure de Touraine AOC soft goat’s cheese.

Healthy regional products from the Châteaux de la Loire are served according to season, in the garden, the small lounge or in front of the fireplace in winter, accompanied by coffee, tea or chocolate.

Hot drinks are also available in the kitchenette. Enjoy them as long as you like, at any time you like!

    Fantastic historic bed and breakfast. Very warm and friendly service and great breakfast. The hotel also has a old church and cellars with art inside that you can explore. Highly recommended.

    Come and stay in this castle to spend a wonderful time. One night spent in October 24 in a pleasant room, tastefully decorated. Jeff welcomes you simply, kindly and tells you, if you ask him, the history of these magical places. Don't forget to taste and buy the delicious honey produced on site

    Quel hébergement atypique extraordinaire ! Nous avons séjourné une nuit dans la chambre pastorale. Il faudra revenir. Le séjour était trop court. L’histoire de ce château et du fief féodal des frères chartreux est à découvrir. Jeff et sa mère, les propriétaires des lieux nous ont accueilli avec simplicité et gentillesse.
    La chambre est très confortable avec une extraordinaire vue.
    Il faut visiter aussi la Chartreuse du Liget, Loche et sa forêt extraordinaire.
